Leadership Standards Acknowledgment

This acknowledgment confirms that you have read, understand, and agree to uphold Fellowship of Business Leaders standards for brand, compliance, culture, and conduct. These are not optional.

1. Brand Standards

I will protect the FBL brand and use all assets exactly as defined in the official brand kit.

I will use only official FBL logo files and will not recreate, redraw, or modify the mark in any way.

I will not apply effects (shadows, outlines, gradients), distort proportions, or alter spacing around the FBL logo.

I understand the color rule: Midnight Navy (#0F111E) is used on white backgrounds only, and the white logo is used on dark/high-contrast backgrounds.

I will ensure the logo is always high-contrast and immediately recognizable; if the background reduces visibility, it will not be used.

I will use approved typography standards, including Le Monde Livre Cla Std for primary brand type treatment.

I understand chapters may not create sub-logos, alternate marks, icons, crests, or taglines under the FBL name.

2. Chapter Identity

I will represent FBL consistently across markets while preserving one unified identity.

I will follow the naming standard: FBL – [City / Region] and will not use nicknames or alternate formats.

I understand FBL is not a referral club or sales organization; messaging must reflect leadership, trust, and integrity.

I will not make promises of referrals, deals, ROI, or transactional outcomes as part of FBL membership.

3. Nonprofit Compliance

I will protect FBL’s nonprofit standing and ensure activities remain aligned with permissible purposes and conduct.

I will not use FBL platforms, events, channels, or branding to support or oppose political candidates, parties, or campaigns.

I will not organize lobbying activity under the FBL name or represent FBL as endorsing political positions.

I will not use FBL funds or resources for personal benefit, private inurement, or non-approved expenses.

I will escalate any compliance concerns, reputational risks, or boundary questions to central leadership before acting.

Standard: If the activity could create political, legal, financial, or reputational risk, it must be cleared first.

4. Communications & Public Representation

I will represent FBL with professional language and a leadership-first tone.

I will keep communications professional—no hype, no pressure, no manipulative recruiting language.

I will not use FBL channels to air grievances, create division, or target individuals or groups.

I will avoid content that implies endorsements, sponsorships, or “official partnerships” unless approved by central leadership.

I understand faith is expressed through values and conduct; messaging should remain inclusive, clear, and leadership-focused.

5. Member Data & Privacy

I will protect member trust by handling data responsibly.

I will not export, sell, share, or misuse member contact information for solicitation or non-FBL purposes.

I will use only approved systems/processes for member communications and onboarding.

If a privacy concern or data breach risk occurs, I will report it immediately to central leadership.

6. Meetings, Culture & Member Experience

I will protect the culture by ensuring gatherings are leadership-first—not transactional.

I will not run FBL meetings as pitch sessions, forced introductions, or sales funnels.

I will not impose attendance quotas or pressure tactics; FBL respects time and responsibility.

I will prioritize conversation, trust, and shared insight from experienced operators.

I will address issues directly and professionally, escalating when necessary to protect the culture.

7. Governance & Enforcement

I accept the responsibility of leadership and the enforcement standard required to scale FBL responsibly.

I understand central leadership has final approval authority for anything representing FBL publicly.

I understand non-compliant assets may be removed immediately and may require revision before use.

I understand repeated or willful violations may impact chapter standing or leadership role.

I will model these standards personally and ensure my team is aligned with them.
