A Commitment to Formation, Brotherhood, and Leadership Integrity
Preamble
The Fellowship of Business Leaders exists to develop men and women of conviction — leaders who pursue wholeness in faith, work, and life.
This covenant defines the shared commitments between FBL facilitators and cohort members. We believe transformation does not happen casually. It happens where there is clarity of expectation, courageous communication, and covenantal commitment.
By entering this cohort, we commit to more than information exchange.
We commit to formation.
We commit to brotherhood.
We commit to becoming the kind of leaders worthy of influence.
FBL Facilitators’ Commitment
As stewards of this cohort, we commit to:
Intentional Leadership Formation Delivering content, experiences, and conversations designed to sharpen character, conviction, and capability — not just competence.
Serious Preparation Investing the time, thought, and discipline necessary to ensure each session is meaningful, challenging, and aligned with the FBL standard.
Personal Investment Knowing you, challenging you, encouraging you, and walking with you in your leadership journey.
Spiritual and Strategic Support Praying for you, advocating for you, and providing counsel when decisions carry weight.
Connection to Brotherhood Creating meaningful connections within FBL and beyond — because isolated leaders plateau.
Direct and Constructive Feedback Speaking truth with clarity. Affirming strengths. Addressing blind spots. Calling you upward.
FBL Participants’ Commitment
As members of this cohort, we commit to:
Honor the Standard Arrive prepared. Be present. Respect the time, investment, and contributions of others.
Courageous Communication Speak honestly. Receive feedback without defensiveness. Address conflict directly and privately.
Authenticity and Ownership Lead with integrity. Drop the mask. Engage in honest self-reflection.
Confidentiality What is shared in the cohort remains in the cohort. Trust is non-negotiable.
Full Engagement Participate fully. Complete assignments. Contribute to discussion. This is not passive development.
Personal Accountability Take responsibility for your growth. Seek feedback. Apply what is learned.
Multiplication Carry what you gain into your teams, companies, churches, and communities. FBL growth is not meant to terminate on you.
Shared Standard of Accountability
FBL is built on brotherhood, not avoidance.
In alignment with biblical leadership principles, we agree to address issues with maturity and courage:
Direct Conversation If you have a concern with another member or facilitator, address it privately and respectfully.
Facilitated Resolution If resolution is not achieved, involve a facilitator to guide a constructive conversation.
Collective Discernment (Rare) In uncommon situations where needed, facilitators may bring the matter forward while preserving dignity and confidentiality.
We protect unity by confronting issues early — not allowing them to fracture trust.
Covenant Agreement
By signing below, we affirm that we have read, understood, and willingly enter into this covenant.
We commit to pursuing wholeness.
We commit to strengthening one another.
We commit to leadership marked by integrity and courage.
This is not a casual agreement. It is a covenant.

Conclusion
This covenant anchors our shared standard.
When we embrace clarity, courageous communication, and covenantal commitment, we build more than businesses — we build leaders capable of lasting impact.
FBL is not about completion. It is about formation.
